Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends is an upcoming 2024 computer-animated comedy film based on the animated television show of the same name. It will be made by Geo Animation Studios and distributed by Paramount Pictures. The film is scheduled to be released on May 10, 2013. The release date analysts initially predicted the film would tie with About Me and We the Peeples. The film was originally scheduled for a release on November 21, 2012, before being brought forward to May 17, 2013. It is now scheduled to be released on May 10, 2013.
Plot
The film is about a new and never-before-seen imaginary friend who came out of the bus. And Mac and Bloo have to find the mysterious imaginary friend. This movie will have some of the Disney characters in this movie, like Grumpy, Pooh Bear, Tinker Bell (at the end of the movie), Brooms with buckets from Fantasia, Animals who look left and right from The Lion King during the song "I Just Can't Wait To Be King" and we know that's not from Disney, but it's Mighty Mouse with Grumpy.

The theatrical release of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends will be accompanied by Geo Animation Studios' upcoming untitled frog short. The score for the short will be provided by John Powell.
Production
In 2006, Craig McCracken stated a feature film based on Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends said in works. In July 2, 2008, Paramount Pictures and Geo Animation Studios announced feature film adaptation, titled Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
Originally, the film was set to be released on November 21, 2012, but Geo Animation Studios pushed back to May 17, 2013 to avoid competition with DreamWorks Animation's upcoming film, Rise of the Guardians which had been pushed to November 21, 2012 to avoid competition with Pixar's upcoming film Monsters University, which also had been pushed to November 2, 2012 to avoid competition with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2. The film has now been pushed to May 10, 2013, with Star Trek into Darkness taking its place and Monster University has now been pushed to June 21, 2013, with Wreck-It Ralph taking its place.

Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends will released on DVD and Blu-ray on November 15, 2013 with a short film titled Finding Another Imaginary Friend.
Release
Distributed by Paramount Pictures and produced by Paramount Animation and Geo Animation Studios, the film is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 10, 2013.
